Dignity’s Deputy Director Elected Co-Chair of Phila CoC Advisory Committee
Category : Dignity News
As an organization that was first in the nation to be founded and guided by homeless individuals and activists, Dignity Housing takes great pride in continuing our advocate roots by working in coalition with other homeless agencies and government officials. Recently, Dignity Housing’s Deputy Director, Vanessa Tercero, was elected as Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Continuum of Care (CoC) Advisory Committee. The Philadelphia CoC is a broad-based coalition of homeless housing and shelter providers, consumers, advocates, government representatives, and community stakeholders working together to shape citywide planning and decision-making. Ms. Tercero was voted into this position by her peers who recognize her strong leadership role in advocating for supports and services on behalf of homeless individuals and families. She works hard every day to continue our mission to break the cycle of homelessness in Philadelphia and we are proud to see her advance this effort in her new role.
