Dear Friends and Supporters,
On Behalf of Dignity Housing’s Board of Directors, I am pleased to make the following announcements:
John C. Ungar has been appointed Executive Director of Dignity Housing effective, March 7, 2016. He will be replacing Beverly Roberts-Cruse who will be retiring after 28 years of dedicated leadership to the agency that has provided housing and life-changing social services to more than 5,000 homeless families and individuals.
Mr. Ungar is an attorney and brings 18 years of Housing and Community Development experience to Dignity. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Ogontz Avenue Revitalization Corporation. Mr. Ungar possesses a strong passion for serving the needs of low-income communities. We are confident that he will continue to advance the mission, goals and vision of the founders of Dignity Housing. Supporting him in this effort will be Vanessa Tercero, a 16 year veteran of Dignity Housing, who has been recently promoted to the position of Deputy Director.
Dignity’s new Executive Director will be formally introduced at Beverly’s retirement gala, Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Regal Ballroom, 5411 Oxford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19124. 6:00-9:00 P.M.
